Princess Sadie on her birthday. Unfortunately, we have very few party photos-maybe some friends and family could send some our way.



















After berry picking in mid-August, Sadie helped Aunt Jessica with applesauce marathons and apple coring and peeling festivities. All the apples came from Jessica's farm in Pound and the handy apple corer-peeler came from Sadie's granny. Thank you!


























Over Labor Day, we traveled to Huntingdon, PA for Dave and Renee's wedding and we had a chance to visit old and new friends. Sadie looks a bit sad because Elias (Matt and Jenny's 2 year old) wasn't home when we stopped by. Matt and Sara taught at W&L together; Sadie and Elias were born just a couple months apart, and now Matt teaches at Juniata (Sara's alma mater)--small world.














Our hosts in Huntingdon included Silas Birch Dudash-an amazing little fellow who easily won the hearts of Sara, Scott, and Sadie Mae. Andy and Janine are truly blessed (as is Silas).

sorry about the lack of updates. with lots of colds and coughs, the start of the semester, parties, weddings, we haven't posted pictures in quite a while. these are from early august with a trip up to grayson highlands to pick blueberries and huckleberries with sadie, mama, daddy, seikan, molly, and agnes. we will do our best to bring you up to date on sadie's adventures real soon.
