since i cannot figure out how to delete this 'extra' post i will use it. i did forget to mention the lovely blanket handcrafted by sara's sister rebecca. i am sure many of you understand the lack of response by sara and i, but i wanted to say thank you to all of our wonderful friends and family who have sent cards and gifts (some repeatedly) to sadie and to sara and i. we do deeply appreciate them each and every one and hopefully sometime in the future we can manage to send some love back through the mail or other means.

oh finally some more pictures!! whew, it sounds like the wait was taking its toll on some people, namely my mom (susie). most of these pictures are from last night (sept 25). the one with sadie sitting on the sofa is from about 12 days ago. the photo with mom and dad on a hike (with a nice view!) is from the top of jessica's place the weekend of sept 16.

thought i would throw in a couple with mom and dad. i guess there is only a limited time where you can put pics of your kid bathing, so gotta do it. this is actually a picture from her first bath about 4 days after she was born.

thank you all for the nice comments on our cute little girl. i mentioned in the previous post something about the 'following pics..' and then kept timing out when uploading. so now i am giving it another try. sadie mae is just as good as ever. she's been trying to hold her head up and look around the last couple of days!

i know little time has passed, but another pic beckoned. the beautiful blanket was a gift from beryl (and jerry) wilkes, friends in charlottesville. maybe one day we'll put pictures of mom and dad with sadie...that's all you get of mom presently. enjoy!

this blogging thing sounded so easy that it had to be better than emailing everyone pictures. now with lil' sadie mae the demand for pics has greatly increased...yes, from practically nil to infinite.

this picture was taken at aunt jessica's aug 26 out near the garden. yes, that is a laundry basket with a nice pillow made by her grandma jerryanne.
