now we have some instances where sara was successfully getting sadie to smile for the camera. she's a cutie isn't she. you just have to read her outfit while she is playing in her new gym (it reads "cutie" by the way). a big thanks to granny for the gym...it's a big hit with sadie and especially with mom and dad.

we tend to enjoy walks and hikes and so does sadie (maybe by training). a couple of these photos are from a hike on brumley moutain, which is just northeast of abingdon. one picture is from a walk at the bier's place in ferrum. we have, however, come to the conclusion that grandpa doesn't change clothes (just kidding grandpa).

this post is for asa so that he can see that his cousin likes tractors, too. the tractor belongs to the fellow that cuts the hay at jessica's place.

here are pictures from sara's trip out to jessica's while jonathon was visiting for a couple of weeks. actually, jon put in a foundation and reconstructed jessica's porch during his visit; sara and sadie spent a little over a week there to help. most of the pictures are from nice hikes we took on jessica's property.

okay, finally getting some pictures up on the blog site! these are from early october. the picture of sadie in the box is from her trip with mom and memaw to their place on lake ontario, ny. i am sure sadie spent more time sleeping in the bed with sara (or without) than in the box. the other pictures are from the second week of october of sadie playing on the floor of our house in abingdon. she was really starting to look around at people and things.
