the first photo is from the chilhowie apple festival parade in september. then in mid october, we were lucky to have a visit from kate (we all appreciated having her here, even agnes and cinder got some extra love) and then a visit from granny and grandpa last weekend.

it didn't get much cooler in september or even in october. still supposed to be in the 80's today. unfortunately, we haven't taken many pictures of sadie mae (perhaps because she moves too fast and has a hard time staying still). here is one from a 'end the war-bring the troops home-peace' march in johnson city, tn. it was a hot day, but sadie was a trooper (like always). the other pictures are of sara's bday horseback ride with jessica and jack woods. (sadie gave me permission to post them although she didn't get to come along) sadie's granny and grandpa from charlotte are here so we should have some photos from the weekend to post soon.
