it's 3:30 and sweet sadie decided to wake up so hear we are, adding some pictures to the site. i couldn't resist adding one of her furry country cousins.

This is what happens when Dada doesn't keep an eye on Mama and Sadie during dinner. (Sadie and Mama both enjoy eating and playing with food) Fortunately, they both like bathtime too!








































We went to Ferrum to join in the celebration of my dad's retirement, 30 years (my lifetime) at Ferrum College. The weather and company was wonderful and we couldn't resist some group shots. Kelsey was visiting from Michigan and the family shot includes Jonathan, Mamaw, and Jessica.



















Sadie continues to delight everyone around her. The five (Scott, Sara, Sadie, Agnes, and Cinder)of us are all pretty happy these days. Thanks to all for their support and love and prayers.

In mid April, we took a trip to Pennsylvania that was a whole bunch of fun for all three of us. We stayed in luxurious accommodations at Blue Moon Farm and had a grand time. Sadie got to meet lots of old friends and spend time with sheep, donkeys, dogs, chickens, turkeys, pigs, ducks, goats, etc. She took a special liking to Martin and Mattias and all of the Bergers. Thanks to everyone who made that trip so wonderful!
