Sadie, her mama, and her daddy said farewell to a very good friend this past weekend. It is with a very heavy heart, swollen eyes, tear-streaked cheeks, and an empty space inside that we begin our week. Cinder, as many of you know, was an amazing cat. He was a pillar of stability, a rock, but oh so soft. His love was limitless (as was his appetite). He came into our lives long before Sadie and none of us were ready to say goodbye. Please encourage our Cinder to rest in peace, follow the light, enjoy his journey. . . and help the rest of us find strength as we adjust to our loss.
