in late june, sadie and sara had a beautiful visit with good friends ang, birchie, and scout at someday farm in east dorset, vermont. we ate homemade (hand-cranked) maple ice cream, got used to being off the grid (no electricity), played the piano and baby dolls and trains and riding toys with birchie, and soaked in the sunshine, cold water, and green mountains at emerald lake.
